i-IKM 2019
1st International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management 25-27 April, 2019 Dhaka, Bangladesh
The 1st International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM 2019) was jointly organized by the Department of Information Studies and Library Management of East West University and Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) which was held from 25-27 April, 2019 at International Training Complex of BPATC.
Conference Overview: The i-IKM 2019 is the first initiative taken in Bangladesh of its kind, and was indeed a Great Success. Around 330 participants have participated in the 1st International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM 2019) from 25 countries among them the number of local presenters were 90, local participants were 200, Invited Speakers and International Participants 40 who have presented in different technical sessions, poster sessions, and pechakuchas (lightning talk). Total 88 papers were presented at the Conference which includes 5 Keynote papers. Along with the technical sessions, 18 pechakuchas (lightning talk) and 9 Poster Presentations had been presented from 26 April-27 April 2019.
i-IKM 2021
2nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management 24-26 June, 2021
The 2nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM 2021) was organized by the Department of Information Studies and Library Management of East West in association with East West University Library which was held from 24 June 2021 to 26 June 2021 virtually due to the COVID-19 situation.
Conference Overview: The i-IKM 2021 is the second initiative taken in Bangladesh of its kind and was indeed a great success. Around 200 participants participated in the 2nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM 2021) from 13 countries. A total of forty-nine papers were presented across the technical sessions on 25 and 26 June 2021. Diversified issues related to information and knowledge management will be highlighted and discussed in these sessions. The scholars from the USA, Italy, Mexico, Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, Bosnia Herzegovina, South Africa, Sweden, Hong Kong, Turkey, India, and Bangladesh participated in the technical sessions to share insights, practices and experiences from their respective countries.
